Robert "Bob" Davis is the third of five children born to James and Shirley Davis. Spending his formative years In Langston, OK, Davis began working in the church at an early age, as his father was a Pastor throughout most of his life.

Davis graduated from Langston University in 1985 and went to work at Oklahoma State University, where he remained for 8 years, leaving OSU in 1993 to marry the love of his life, Zina. The newlyweds began serving as Youth Ministers while Davis also enjoyed a short stint (one year) with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education's Special Programs Department. The couple are now the parents of 4 children, Paige, Robert, Michála and Grace, and one grandson, Kade.

His career continued in higher education at The University of Oklahoma, serving as Assistant Director of Student Services for six years. Leaving OU in 2000 Davis spent the next two years counseling students from two of Oklahoma City's secondary education alternative schools along with a the beginning of a 14 year opportunity serving as Assistant Pastor and Marriage and Family Life Pastor for CovenantLife Family Worship Center (formerly Calvary Baptist Church).

His career continued in higher education at The University of Oklahoma, serving as Assistant Director of Student Services for six years. Leaving OU in 2000 Davis spent the next two years counseling students from two of Oklahoma City's secondary education alternative schools along with a the beginning of a 14 year opportunity serving as Assistant Pastor and Marriage and Family Life Pastor for CovenantLife Family Worship Center (formerly Calvary Baptist Church).

Davis was introduced to A company called Public Strategies, home of The Oklahoma Marriage Initiative and Family Expectations, and had the pleasure of growing and serving there for 10 years. While working for Public Strategies Daviswas afforded many opportunities for continued professional growth and became a Master Curriculum Trainer for PREP, Inc. , Colors Temperament Development, and Marital First Responder Curriculum; member of SALLT Leadership Training (class IV), Assistant Chairman of the Black Chamber of Commerce of OKC, Certified Mediator for Oklahoma And Cleveland Counties and Family Life Educator and Master Coach Trainer for Family Expectations.

Over the last two years Davis has served as Senior Pastor of CovenantLife. Believing this is the greatest calling on his, it is Davis' desire to be able to serve with the same vitality and integrity he observed in his father, Pastor James Harold Davis, Sr. . Davis' greatest desire is to help develop Godly, healthy, loving marriages at CovenantLife, NE Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City metro, the state of Oklahoma and throughout the United States of America, to the glory of God!
